Where to buy Bravo D1 or Momitsu V880?

Where in Europe is the best place to buy one of these players? Will they both do PAL as well as NTSC and be region free? Will they now come with the latest firmware that allows for various resolutions other than 720p and 1080i? As anyone tried one of these outputting a 1386x788 picture?

Which is the best machine?

I assume you got the Brainwave? Have you had any problems? How long have you had it and have you upgraded the firmware, or did it come with the latest version? Will it do various resolutions other than 720p and 1080i?

says that it doesn't output pal 576p. so the question is, does it output progressive scan PAL as 720p? 720P is just what I want for my Sanyo PLV-Z2 projector.

Yes it will, although only via DVI I think (don't use the component outputs on mine).

Hi,

The Momitsu will output 720p, 768p and 1080i from component, RGBHV and DVI.

Anyone tried 768p via DVI with a HS10 projector?

Suppose it is cheap enough to give it a go anyway!

Hmm, i've been reading lots of threads over on avsforum and it seems that the momitsu outputs 720p at 60Hz only... so does this mean that PAL DVDs will appear "jerky" at 720p? But then again, the LCD panel refresh rate is also 60Hz... ouch, my head is starting to hurt.

I run pal stuff at 60hz from the momitsu and have no problems.
