Cheapo DVD player with DivX & zoom

Hi

Can anyone recommend something suitable?

I used to have a Nissan (no, not the car manufacturer) DVD player with the above, plus composite video output. This died a few months ago and I found it difficult to replace with a player of similar spec.

Wound up with a £35 Sony player off Amazon - this is OK but now when playing DVDs have to put up with enormous black bars above and below the picture (is this letterbox?), plus now have to use up a SCART socket on the back of the TV.

PHILIPS DVDR 3480 DVD recorder supports the latest divx files and allows you to zoom in, zoom out by the remote. U can get on a price comparison site called twenga from £25, bargain!
