Sumvision Phoenix not recognise USB?

Hi there

Last November I bought a Sumvision Phoenix Upscaling DVD player from Microdirect. All was well until two weeks ago when it refused to switch on finally Microdirect today sent me a replacement. Problem now is that when I press the GOTO button it does not give me the pop down menu to select the USB stick. I have tried three USB sticks that all worked in the the previous unit I had from them and still I cant access any of them. The replacement unit looks the same as the original one except that the grey part underneath is much thicker than the one I sent back.

Any idea's as to how to get this to read my USB stick very gratefully received as I did not have the problem with the original.

Cheers Bill

Unless the sticks aren't formatted correctly (Fat16/32) then I'd suggest you contact Microdirect as it might be a machine fault.

Yeh all the sticks and now SD cards are formatted FAT32 and as all worked in the previous one am wondering what is going on.

Contacting Microdirect is a task within itself!! They are a terrible company to deal with and I would never ever buy anything from them again disgusting service stay well clear of em !!!!
