I've got an INFOCUS IN72 which says it can handle up to 480P though there are also options to go 720P and 1080i and 1080P. It's got HDMI. Is there any benefit in using an upscaling DVD to feed it?

Because of cost, I'm not interested in buying blu ray dvds but would I get a better picture on this INFOCUS by using a blu ray player to play standard sd discs?

Any pointers gratefully received.

As you've no interest in Blu Ray discs buying a BluRay player would be pointless as its Upscaling of SD dvds will be just the same as an SD upscaling player
Save a bit of money and buy a normal Upscaling DVD player
This model gets good reviews within the Forums
