Just tried this one from an older CA hack - and it works.
This will enable VCD playback & MP3 playback, which I think just about covers the whole 9 yards with this player.

Turn player on
Push Setup on the remote
Move the cursor over the speaker setup menu but don't select it
Type 9,2,1,0 on the remote. A menu appears
Switch the support mode to ON.
Press setup
Turn the player off then on again.
eh voila

Incidentally, this also reveals a menu that will disable HDCP on the Video outs as well.

All in all, I really like this player - VFM wise, you can't go wrong!

Thanks so much for posting this! Helped me out of a hole when I couldn't get any HDMI o/p to my Panasonic TX26LXD500. Just to clarify for anyone else suffering the same problem (no HDMI):

1. With no disc in the DVD, follow Neils hack to switch Support Mode On
2. Press setup
3. Turn DVD off then on
4. You now have access to the HDMI selectbutton on the remote (button 28 in the manual). Select the appropriate HDMI o/p for your screen and all should ping into life.
