Question Panasonic Home Cinema System SC-PT 470

I have purchased a Panasonic SC-PT470 home cinema system which incorporates a DVD player which is set only to region 2. I would like to make it multi region as I have a collection of movies in region 1, is this possible! I have heard that you can purchase a chiped remote, anybody got any information on them.

They are available on ebay (see link below for seller details) although I have never used them.

This seller linked below does seem to have some very good feedback, might be worth firing off a few messages to the seller if you have any questions.

chipping

We purchased our unit from a Panasonic shop and they charged an addition £10 to put a multi-region chip in this for us... Much easier than paying people from ebay !!
