When will the Harmony Remote Multiregion DVD Hack for Pioneer thread be re-opened?

Hi All,

I have a Pioneer BDP-51FD blu ray deck and was looking to make it region free for DVD.

It seems i missed the boat as the thread created to do this (called Harmony Remote Multiregion DVD Hack for Panasonic, Pioneer & Sony Blu-ray's Part 6) closed down at the start of September:

http://www.avforums.com/forums/blu-r...-part-6-a.html

I was just wondering if there is any chance of this thread being re-opened?

The requested codes have been added into your account for your Blu-Ray player. There are two options available to carry out the sequence that you are requesting, if you need this to be done at the beginning or end of an activity, you can add these commands one after another and have the Harmony send them out once the activity is started or when it is ending.

If you want to be able to manually send this string of commands with one button press, you will not be able to do so. You will need to create an activity sequence using the first 5 commands, and then create another sequence using the next 5 commands. With the sequences, you will not be able to determine the amount of time the remote pauses in between each command that is sent out. With the custom activity starting an sending actions, you can apply a pause in between each command. I have provided the FAQ links for both of these options below;

Checked the harmony account tonight and sure enough the panasonic player has remote signals for each of the 10 codes. Created a generic activity with each signal sent and 0.5 sec gap and it works
