Multiregion for Denon DVD-A1UD

Hi,

I would like to switch the Denon DVD-A1 UD codefree at least for DVD.
Can you do that using a similar procedure as for the "old" Denon DVD players such as 3930?
I have tried it and the player switched off after I had turned it on following pulling the power cable, pushing down "pause" and "stop" at the same time until the the player showed "no disk" and then and entering via remote the the code "73194628".
However, I presently have no foreign DVD to find out if it worked.

Thank you!

Paul

Any update on this? Any BluRay multi-region mod yet?

MJ, have a look at JVB Digital if you haven't already.

JVB Digital, Codefree Denon DVD-A1UD DVD modification kit

I think you and I have been looking forwards to this for some time!

They're one of the reputable mod companies.

I had my Pioneer DVDP player MR modded by them a couple of years ago - had to send it away that time - all worked out fine.
