Multi region Samsung DVD-SH895M Region 2
Turn on player
Press “0” five times
Press “timer”
A menu appears
Press “575389”
As you press these the number 2 in the corner of the screen will change, ending on the number 9.
Then open tray, close tray, power off then on at wall.
All should then be multi region playable
This works for region 2 tried and confirmed.

For other regions I suggest changing the 57538 for region 2 to the other numbers listed here:
Region 1:29334
Region 2:57538
Region 3:56732
Region 4:76884
Region 5:53814
Region 6:24462
I haven't tried these.

Thanks PPHH, works perfectly. Are you having any trouble playing DivX/XviD files on this machine, on mine 16:9 widescreen files playback in the wrong ratio, far to narrow, & some seem to jitter slightly!
