Tried using the hack recommended in the sticky with a OFA remote but appear to have locked out my factory romote control.

Following the instructions to letter, except it suggests moving the Command-Mode switch under the cover of the remote to DVD1 but there is no cover on my remote unless I dismantle the RM. I suspect if I had managed to complete this instruction then my remote would still be working. The OFA remote turns the DVD on and off, but the factory RM is dead. Have changed batteries and all thta but still not working.

Help.

Well i think it can only be modded with a special factory remote, or the commands from this remote from a PC. No other way. Anyone who tells you otherwise is wrong, or trying to scam you for money for a set of useles codes!
