If anyone has an LG 26LG4000 TV/DVD Combo and needs to make it multi-region, here's how to do it:

"With the TV on, press the menu buttons on both the TV and remote at the same time for approximately 5 seconds - the service menu comes up, use the down arrow key to get to region setting - it's currently set to EU/Jpn - and use the right arrow key to bring up World Wide - then switch TV off and back on - job done"

However, do bear in mind that you're in the service menu where, no doubt, you could do some damage, so take care and don't do anything stupid.
