Day 90 - month 3 update

Okay, two days until my holidays, and it's day number 90 - in some ways it seems like such a short space of time, but when I look back it's taken a ton of effort to get to where I am now. I still have a (very) long way to go to get to where I want to be, but at the moment I am probably not far off the best shape of my life, which can't be a bad thing at 32.

So, here's a progress photo showing Day 0 through to day 90 today:

Day 60 - month 2 update

60 days in and my weight continues to remain fairly static. I have only lost 7lb since starting this routine (Day 0 I weighed 208lb, today I weigh 201lb).

I must admit to feeling slightly disappointed with my appearance at Day 60 - mainly I think because there was such a big difference between Day 0 and Day 30, but the differences between Day 30 and Day 60 are much less dramatic.

Again though, I can feel it myself in terms of my strength and endurance, even if the pic...

It's true I haven't been keeping my diet tracked day by day for several days now, but that is primarily because I am feeling reasonably confident about what I am eating now. That's about 7-8 weeks of consistently monitoring my intake before I feel comfortable enough to wing it. I will keep a close eye on it and if I feel worried or confused, will get right back into tracking every little thing.

I've been told time and time again that exercise only counts for about 25% of how you look - the other 75% is down to your diet. It continually surprised me that this ratio could even be close to being right, however, I had some news at lunchtime which would seem to support that notion.

Since January, I have been on more or less the same workout routine - 3-5 days per week of reasonably demanding cardio and resistance workouts. Come March I had hit a plateau where my weight was going...
