23/1/13: 226lb
30/1/13: 223.75lb
Today: 224.25lb

Weekly Loss: -0.5lb.
Total Loss: 10.75lb.

D'oh, not good this week. Due to having a more active than usual social life, I've been out for lunch and dinner several times, and had one fairly serious night out where much wine and assorted liquids presented to us in shot glasses were consumed.

Not pleased about the half-pound gain, but it's obvious why...

Today: 223.75lb

Weekly Loss: 2.25lb.
Total Loss: 11.25lb.

That 0.25lb is very important to me as it marks me crossing the first milestone - dropping below 16 stone.

Okay, I'm 15st 13.75lb, so barely scraping under it, but psychologically it means a lot.

Still haven't worked up the motivation to exercise much, I could make excuses about the weather but that's all they'd...

Total Loss: 9lb.

Slightly disappointed I didn't lose a bit more but it's just an indication to me I need to put the exercise in on top of changing eating habits. Still, overall am aiming for an average 2lb a week loss so not complaining.

Weigh-in

9/1/13: 235lb.
Today: 228lb

Loss: 7lb.

To be expected really, with me carrying so much weight. Would be nice if it would continue at that rate every week but I know that won't (and shouldn't) happen. Most of this loss is probably from a reduction in water retention as I've started eating better and drinking a lot more fluids.

Still, mustn't grumble - heading in the right direction at least! Only 53lb to go...

Struggling...

Biggest issue is teaching my body to get used to smaller portions.

Exercise 1 (am):

14.25 miles in 1h 4m 41s
Garmin tells me I burned 832 calories - I usually multiply whatever it tells me by 0.75 to be conservative about it, so probably a little over 600 calories burned. Will get the train home later so probably have a relatively short cycle and will only burn maybe another 100cal.

Food (not good, but better):

3 Jaffa cakes (~135cal)...
