Red mist goes, blu skies arrive
The red mist has certainly gone from blu ray’s hill this morning has the mighty avf blu rays managed to win 3 games out of 4!
Last week’s session was a shockingly bad performance by both teams in defence. The first game ended up 8:4 to the avf blu rays as they finally broke the deadlock and won their first game against Real AVF.
The second leg last week was nearly the reverse of the 1st leg. The Real AVF extended their wins against us win a thrashing 5:1 win. In this game, half of each team’s members left that game and it became a 6 v 6 sort of game with AVF Blu rays not clicking well whilst Real AVF proved to strong in this game resulting in AVF Blu rays letting in a staggering 9 GOALS in two games.
Now fast forward to last night’s game and the main objective and the most obvious one for the manager of AVF Blu rays is to sort out the defence and my o my did it work a treat.
1st leg:
The 1st leg started off in a strange way, Real AVF posed a few threats in blu rays defence but the defence was very solid and stopped any potential attack from forming into a goal. One of Real AVF’s strikers got so upset during the first 15-20min of the match that the player ended up slide tackling JonneyM without him having the ball!
With 10 men on field for Real AVF, a goal gifted by them enabled the blu rays to take the lead midway through the first half. The red cards didn’t stop there; TVR_Fan received one a few minutes after they had scored the opening goal leaving both teams with only 10 men left.
In the 2nd half, another Real AVF player received another straight red and things were just getting bad to worse for them. A goal midway through the 2nd half from AVF Blu rays sealed the win by SJ who scored a decent goal but the Real AVF players will be wondering what the hell was their GK doing positioned right next to the left post of the goal.
Final Score 2:0 with Blu rays having played the best defensive performance so far.
2nd Leg:
In the 2nd leg, the red wanted revenge from their early defeat but it wasn’t meant to be. While the 1st leg was a close one, this wasn’t. AVF Blu rays where 2:0 up in the 1st half completely dominating the 1st half but in the 2nd half it proved to be an even match with Real AVF pressuring Blu rays defence.
Real AVF could have gotten an earlier goal but they missed many opportunities midway through the second half but a rebound shot led to Real AVF finally scoring passed that brick wall that the Blu Rays have had in their defence. At 2:1 anything could happen but a few minutes later, AVF Blu rays managed to kill the game off with two late goals.
Another late goal by Real AVF capped off a final score of 4:2 to the Blu rays who was celebrating in joy at beating their bitter rivals in both legs last night.
Ty Managed to get a hatrick in this game and of course man of the match with some brilliant finishing by him .He also showed some fantastic vision in his passing that setup up various chances for other players.
The defeat was so damaging to Real AVF’s morals that there are talks that last night could well and truly be the last night these two rivals ever play again..
edit: i know Real AVF diddnt play has roma but thats the close of a pic i can get of a team in red playing againts our team Inter milan
