Kuro Madness

I have never come across a product before that has made me so want it, even though I cannot justify the expense and would have to pass the WAF (wife acceptability factor), I want a Pioneer Kuro 60 incher even though I have never seen one in action, why is this, I have a perfectly good 50 inch Panasonic in the lounge with all the associated gubbins, I dream at night of ways to get around the WAF and buy one, I am sure it will happen one day, I know for sure as it is larger than my existing TV I cannot just swap it without her indoors noticing as was the case with all the black boxes underneath the TV..LOL

I'm in a similar boat. I have a 43" Pioneer, 2 years old. We initially had it on a diagonal in a corner, and our sofa was around 1m from the back wall - we now have the TV hung flat on the wall and the sofa almost on the back wall, so we're around 1m further away.
A 50" job would look just a little bigger than this one in the old position. And the price isn't bad either - the 1080p/50" is just over £2k - I think we paid just under £2k for this 768p/43" model.
I think I need a window-cleaner's van to drive round the corner, lose control, and crash into our front garden, with the ladders coming through the window and smashing the TV.
