hi all.

im new to the BB world and i want one of these as they seem really good phones, but ive heard if they are unlocked by yourself and you use a different sim to what the phone was originally then some of the apps, facebook, BB Im, windows live ect... wont work??? is this true??

also whats your guys opinion on the curve is it worth a purchase to someone who uses phones for social networking?

cheers

All the features will work fine on an unlocked handset. The features mentioned are dependant on you having blackberry services provisioned on your account.

The Services are using the BIS (Blackberry Internet Service) which gives you full access using Blackberrys servers to the internet so you can surf get IM and Push Email, TBH without the BIS on your contract the phones well just a phone its pretty useless without it!
