Setup Blackberry 8320 as tethered modem for laptop

Got a Blackberry 8320 on contract with unlimited data package. Can anyone provide step-by-step instructions on how to set this up to use as a tethered modem on a laptop running XP?

Have Googled this and plenty of info about setting up other, mainly US carriers, but nothing about Orange that I can find that makes sense

Tried calling Orange and they didn't have a clue which is about par.

Can anyone help?

You can do it quite easily via bluetooth, generic bluetooth modem drivers will work it.

It will be painfully slow though as its not a 3G handset.

Thanks for the reply, dial up/GPRS speeds will be absolutely fine, it's just for downloading email and the quick doc on the go.

Laptop doesn't have bluetooth unfortunately, wouldn't it be easier to use the BB as a tethered modem rather than buy a BT adaptor and have to configure that as well as the BB?

OK, I finally managed to setup a Blackberry 8320 as a tethered GPRS modem using the instructions here with BIS and Blackberry Desktop Manager 4.5 on XP SP3

As the post says, use +cgdcont=1,"IP","orangeinternet" as the Special Configuration Step and *99# as the number to dial. No need to enter a user name or password for the dial up connection. Bit slow but does the job for emergency access
