E-mail on 8520

Hi,

Just purchased one of these for the misus, the phone was bought off line so i did not take out the blackberry services cuz one of those internatinal sim card is being used, Anyway could anyone tell me if i could set up e-mail on this phone so that she could send pics etc and check emails, it would mostly be connected to the home hub of wifi.

I have tried to go onto the browser manually but does not allow me to attach photos.

Thanks..

OK had a look on the net, and quite sure i can not get e-mails pushed through, cuz i did not get the blackberry services.

But is there another way of receiving e-mails and sending them through my wifi connection at home?

You cant use it for email without blackberry services at all mate. The only way would be logging into a webmail account via the hotmail.co.uk site etc.

You've two choices really...

Replace the handset.
Replace the SIM.

There are many other devices that will offer the same quality email management, without needing to pay an additional monthly subscription for the privilege.

Or get yourself a UK based SIM on a network that supports BIS on PAYG, if you don't want a long-term contract.

Do other UK networks support BIS on PAYG ? I know Orange do and T-Mobile dont.
