Based on the research I have done, the 9700 seems to be the best Blackberry to date.

The best blackberry would be the bold 2

However if you were to consider the combination of blackberry and the carrier it would have to be the 9630 tour.

I have the Storm2 and it's a fantastic phone, but not without it's flaws.
The software is very buggy and am waiting for the next official firmware update from VF.

However, I would say that the best Blackberry to get at this moment in time is the 9700 without a doubt

Hope this helps

I recently got a 9700 for work use, and to date it's been very good.

I've just come off the phone with orange, and upgraded my personnal phone to an iphone 3gs......so let the battle commence

Guys can anyone answer me these:

1) Does the Bold 9700 handle Microsoft Office documents?

2) Can the Bold 9700 handle Zip folders (sent by email) with multiple files inside?

Thanks in advance

I guess it would depend on whether you wanted touch screen (storm 2) or qwerty (bold 9700), Ive had the bold 9000 for a year now and still love it.

Only used a Bold 9000 & now a Bold 9700 and much prefer the pad to the trackball which with heavy use on all our work hansets became jerky, erratic. The pad won't suffer from that. The 9000 was great but everything is better with the new one.

Ive used most of the blackberry phones that have been released and overall i have to say that i personally think that the BB Bold 9000 & 9700 are the best 2 releases made by RIM Blackberry.

The first blackberry i had (Pearl) didnt really seem like a smartphone becuase of having 2 letter on one key.

I would also reccomend the Blackberry 8250 Curve for people who are either new to BB's or just want to try one out.

I think that both the BB Bolds have a more business like touch and look to them with the solid QWERTY keyboard without gaps and the overall feel of the phone compared to the others.

Hope this helps
