How can you check your Blackberrys PIN has been released??

I have rung t-mobile who have confirmed all my email settings etc have been removed and that the pin is no longer associated with my account.

However, whenever I goto BlackBerry Internet Service it still doesn't allow me to create a new bis account using the phones pin/iemi.

It does however tell me that 'this blackberry device is not registered with your wireless service provider'- does this mean its de-registered?? The reason I ask is that i took the phone to cex to get a trade-in and was told that unless they can create a new account they dont take the phone as its not de-registered??

That means it's de-registered, but the only way to confirm that would be to put another network SIM in and register the Blackberry to that, say O2. I've had my dad's old Curve for the last few months, and need to get it removed from Vodafones network as I can't register the phone with O2 unless this has been done.

I think he's after finding out whether it's been removed from the T-Mobile network, not what the actual PIN is
