Any UK companies offering short-term, sim-only Blackberry tariffs?

Hi!

I have been looking for a short-term Blackberry Sim-Only tariff, as I'll shortly have a Curve 8900. I only need it for 60 days as (in case you haven't seen my other thread), I'm moving to Canada for 12 months and will get a full year contract when I get out there.

The 02 Simplicity deal seems to require a 6 month commitment for it's Blackberry tariff according to their website BlackBerry from O2 - O2 Unlimited BlackBerry tariff for consumers and when I emailed Virgin they said that none of their options included calls made from outside the UK (despite me telling them I was going to get a different contract when I got to Canada, so on the basis they don't read emails fully I am discounting them).

Is there any UK company that offers a short-term Blackberry contract for people already with a handset?

1 month contract with orange SIM only plans from Orange Dolphin 30 SIM? Or O2 PAYG with bolt on?

Hi Dragon. Orange told me on the phone that it wasn't possible to have Blackberry on the 30 day contracts.

02 website says I need to sign on for 6 months, their first email to me said the same, but the second one and their call centre say I can have BB on 30 days, so who knows?

BEst bet may be to go to a carphone warehouse store and ask them. Vodafone do some good no roaming charge deals as its only for 2 months wouldn't PAYG with unlimited internet option be suitable?

I think so yes. I've got a Warehouse near me so will go and speak to them over the weekend.

Orange are doing £5 on pay as you go for the Pearl (£160 up front) and Curve 8900 (£250 up front) provided your initial top up is £20.

Another option is to buy the Pearl on T-Mobile for £180 for 12 months access.

The only place I've seen a BlackBerry sim only deal is from Scancom who do a T-mobile Solo sim on a 30 day rolling contract, £22.02/month 350 minutes/unlimited texts and 1Gb of BB data/email.
