bold memory

hi
i wanted to ask about the memory of bb bold. I saw that the memory of bb curve is bigger then the bold one so there could be install more applications, but is it possible to be inserted more flash memory or if is inserted microSD card does that mean that there could be enough space for more applications? (bold flash memory is 128 mb vs 256 curve)

thanks

as far as ive ever been aware on my last few blackberrys i was never able to install an app to the memory card it was always auto installed on the phone memory. When the phone memory gets low on my bold i have a very noticable drop in performance i usually like to keep around 25-30 meg free on the phone memory for optimal performance

Re: bold memory

Go to the App Store and download for free 'Quick Pull'. It simulates a battery pull by restarting your phone and optimizing memory. I set mine to do it at 6am daily so it's all done and in tip top performance condition for the day. Good app.

Re: bold memory

I've got loads of apps installed on mine, Facebook, Yahoo Messenger, a few games, google maps, etc. not really sure what else I'd put on it and still have 30 meg free.

Never had any memory problems, so I think the Bold memory is perfectly adequate for normal use.

Movies, photos and music I store on the memory card, so that has no effect on the program memory.
