curve vs bold

Hi,

Could you please tell me which phone you think is better: BlackBerry Curve 8900 or BlackBerry Bold?

I am going to use it for email, skype(iskoot),internet, good reception, decent memory

I saw that Bold has 3G, but what exactly means that, and is it important for a phone to have it,please?

Re: curve vs bold

3G is faster internet and the main benefit of the Bold over the Curve, aside from that I think most folk prefer the Curve, smaller size, better camera, but aside from that both are very similar.
I personally intend to get the Blackberry Onyx/Tour (not sure what its called exactly) later in the year which is basically a Curve but with 3G and an optical pad instead of trackball.

Just a bump on this waiting for tomtom on the iphone is killing me so thinking of going for a blackberry with garmin/orange maps can anyone say which is betetr on either handset or on ornage maps?

Calls/GPS are as important if not more so than email.

Re: curve vs bold

I would probably go for Garmin over Orange Maps, I had a free trial of OM on my C905 when I bought it and it was awful, even Amaze GPS was better and also FREE.
If you can get Garmin I would go for it, but remember depending on network you can get Blackberry Maps too which is pretty good for free, but it would have to be an unbranded Blackberry either bought SIM free or via CPW maybe.
