Not too bothered about the new suppression although playing CQ on Metro can be a bit like your soldier is running around peeling onions non-stop Also i'd only ever got 2 suppression ribbons in over 5 days solid play before the patch and last night i got 2 in twenty minutes without trying...

I noticed you can no longer hold down left trigger and change a mag, you have to come out of sights, reload then go back into sights manually.

Also noticed my SKS is not as accurate, possibly due to running with the silencer but still seems to do the job.

Finally loving the private servers 2k tickets a side on Metro CQ was an epic Cod-Field 3 fight last night - may as well play it the way DICE intended

I can understand a bit less accuracy when supressed but that does seem a tad harsh. So in a one vs. one at medium range what happens? You fire at him and hit/suppress him, he fires back at you, but because he's supressed his bullets are less accurate and so miss you slightly which then suppresses you so your fire goes innacurate. You're going to end up with two suppressed people blazing away at each other and it'll be pot luck as to who comes out of it the winner

Looks like you have to burst fire at the enemy, unless they shoot back at you; in that case, switch to full auto.

Not being funny but that would tell me that they cant aim or shoot ahead properly. I don;t have a problem shooting down heli's or planes when it an AA tank or even a gunner on a tank.

Also, I don't think I have ever seen - in 78 hours of play - most of a team trying to shoot down planes. If you don't have decent pilots on your team, that isn't going to help either.

Just my 2 cents / pence.

That either happened because Auto Balance was on - which is a pile of ****. Or if the Admin made room for his buddies to come onto his side which is also unsporting. But Admins can do what they want. If only there was a rate feature for servers you could have 1 stared it.

I've banned one person so far as he had USA as his location. I only became suspect when the game started lagging. He sent a message back saying "I'm from England you dick"

At the end of the day, I and the rest of the EU only members want to play on a server which does not have lag or rubberbanding something which happens when higher latency players join.

Server browser and selecting EA or a dice server sorts the issue. Wont be using quick match again.

Fully agree, no quick match for me either, what with 1000 ticket games and kicked by Admin. EA or Dice servers for me from now on.

i did a 2,000 ticket match last night, CQ on metro, it was brilliant, like a 5-day cricket test match but completed quicker than a game of T20

Just how do I filter the search to find only EA or Dice servers? I think what I'm looking at is only private servers.

Am i missing a filter to cut the masses of self made "servers" from the list?, i'd just like to see a list for the EA / dice ones . without having to type in the bloomin name / search / then add to favourites ? it seems its going to take a couple of hours setting up a list of currently full "official" servers just so the next time i get on BF3 im not sat wading through full or crap servers just to find the normal ones.

sorry if that seems a confusing question but this server finding thing has blown some head fuses, .

It was added in the patch. Along with an extra jeep when attacking the first MCOMs on Damavand. The mobile AA spawn position has changed on Wake as well I believe, in Rush.

The VERY day I decide to start playing BF3 again, and finally invest some time in Assault to unlock this great Famas everyone has been raving about, the patch comes out. The VERY day.

I literally had the gun unlocked for roughly 1 hour before the servers went down for the patch. It did seem like a good gun, but now appears to kick like crazy.

Still, enjoying assault for a change. Never really appealed before; who wants to use a defibrillator when there's C4 and rocket launchers out there?

I also gave in and tried some team deathmatch. It was actually really good fun for a change, and I'll be playing that more.

I have a second wind for BF3, and Im chomping at the bit to get home for some more!

Same with me. I had everything unlocked as normal but all my weapon selection options were back at default.

Also my Rank was 0 at the time as well I think.

Had a horrid game on the server while playing oman rush. Half the enemy were in the building in front of one of the stations on the second set of stations, had it been accessible before the patch? It made it impossible to arm the charge, but from the position of the enemy, I couldn't see any stairs or doors to get in their, just windows?

Don't think I've played rush on that map very often so I'm not sure mate. Think the only thing you can do is pop an RPG through the windows!

But to do that, you'd had to get around the back of the enemy as it looks out upon their spawn (the huge sky scrapers). I did get 4 of them once, but i was shooting what appeared to be the outer wall, not in the window, which makes me wonder if it's some sort of glitch getting inside?

Sounds a weird one, I'll keep an eye out for it. Had a good game of rush on wake island. We lost in the end but Pebb was designating the choppers with a soflam and I was taking them down with Javelins. Lost count of the number of choppers I downed. Had to keep looking for a support guy for more Javelins!

You managed to get your disc working again them Tom, how are you finding it post patch? I'm starting to get to grips with the new gun characteristics. I'm not any better than I was but I'm not any worse either.

Aye, I'm away till monday so I'm having to use the spare xbox which is knackered and I'd been watching sky player on it for the footy so I think it had gotten rather hot and was refusing to play, you may have seen me constantly popping online and then off again trying to get it to work. I'm hoping it doesn't play up after the match tomorrow, I couldn't stand the toon losing and then battlefield not working

Overall I think the patch has been a good one, haven't touched the engineer weapons but my beloved aek seems to be shooting peas. I must say; however, the saiga has been turned into a cannon, it's amazing!

I was having a look earlier and unfortunately it appears to simply be pot luck whether you can find a standard server.

Just look for a server like SERVER12345 they are the EA Servers. Do a quick refresh you should soon find one.

It was raised on EAUK too, looks like they may have been removed, or drastically reduced.

the best i could do was type dice into the search bar on the search tab, and then scroll through the high ping to find euro and then look over at what game mode it was running, and then what map type. quiet frustrating. but easy enough eventually. be prepared to add full (24/24) servers as long as they match your criterea, the next time you look they may have the right amount of people in them.

edit: when you find a match (spec wise) add it and go play. if you dont like it then delete. nothing worse than not adding to fav's only to close down and not find the server again!!
