Thumbs up Re: The SCAN free delivery programme is back

I've got it working now. I ticked the 'remember me' box when logging in and it's working ok now.

As I use a shared computer I never tick that option, as I assumed it would sign you into your account automatically when you went to avforums. It looks like it saves the cookie that allows you to stay logged in when navigating around the forums.

If that's the case, I can't see much point in that tickbox.

Thanks for your help though gents . Much appreciated.

(Hopefully Stuart will add this to his information page as well )

Re: The SCAN free delivery programme is back

Might be worth posting in General Chat. As not alot of members read this part of the forums.

PS, does this mean if I sign up again (remember already got my free del from hexus) that Scan pay me to buy stuff?

Re: The SCAN free delivery programme is back

Worked well for me and good to have it back. Lucky timing as my brothers motherboard (at a guess and i hope) has given up the ghost.

Ordered a cheapy gigabyte P31 DS3L to replace and overclock with, plus this fancy new MX-2 paste

Will this offer be "lifetime" as I had free delivery from Scan from a previous offer here but now on Scan it is still including delivery in my Cart

Re: The SCAN free delivery programme is back

Well glad to see this is back. Am planning to build a new system soon and rid myself of my current setup.

I have always found Scan to be great - buy most of my items from them and they are excellent with returns.

Re: The SCAN free delivery programme is back

Scan always have great prices but I just find their stock levels way too unreliable - my previous experiences with them have been similar but I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and ordered about £450 of components on Saturday.

It was meant to be delivered today but now I find out my order wont be coming as something which was marked as in stock when I ordered is actually out of stock and wont be back in stock for at least a week.

That in itself is frustrating but why do I only find out after I chase and on the day I am sitting at home off work expecting delivery? Why not contact me yesterday and offer an alternative so I can either choose a different product or decide to wait and go to work today? Cheap prices are great but its not the be all and end all, Im afraid - Ebuyer have just gotten my order........

Re: The SCAN free delivery programme is back

Is this still on? I'm trying to buy a Logitech Harmony remote but not seeing the free shipping on my account. I've used it successfully in the past.

The shipping/courier prices are always what put me off Scan and I'd tend to order off Ebuyer or somewhere that offers Quidco cashback instead, but now Ebuyer seems to have dropped their free del on orders over £50.

Please PM me your details (name, postcode, email address used).

Don't forget the order value needs to be at least £20 excluding vat & delivery
