Why is it I can see the majority of signatures when viewing via the iPhone app but not mine despite the fact it shows via safari and explorer.
Not a major issue but it's bugging me so I ran a quick comparison of some members in this thread and noted the same issue with the following members;
@ Sofa-lofa
@ hpoom (part of signature only)
@ scrufftyguy
I have signatures enabled so is it something to do with format?
Cheers

I would like to see the Jump To Page button at the bottom of every thread changed to the Reply button. I think that would be much more useful than having to click twice to access the reply box.

iPhones don't support animated gifs, and implementing smilies is very resource hungry and slows down the app a lot.

I've got the Android app set to view first unread post, but when I view a thread I've never read before, more often than not it opens a later post and not the first one. Surely this setting should open the thread on the first post if I've never read the thread before.

I'm finding it hard to use this.

The shade of blue used for post headers (avatar, member details, date etc.) needs to be much darker so that it's easier to see when one post ends and another starts. Currently the darkest shade is used for quotes. My eye instinctively tries to separate between dark/light and the confusion occurs when there are multiple quotes in a thread. To help me distinguish between posts I look for members avatar pictures, however many people don't have these.

So I recently changed my password on the forums. Went to use the app on the bus yesterday, and of course it said "incorrect login 1 of 5 tries" which is fine. It then proceed to crash (white screen). And I couldn't get back into the app.

In the end I had to go into the Applications menu, and clear data and cache from the app.

I added a profile picture on the site a few days ago and it's still not appearing on the app.

Go to control panel and then subscriptions and remove the ones you don't want

Sorry. Ok. When you subscribed you can decide what type of notification you want. If memory serves me you get 4 choices. Can you not change this choice in the control panel.

If you can't change it then unsub and sub again choosing your type of notification

mmmm.... I went to the control panel and this section surely should be what i need!?!?...

When you post a new thread, or reply to a topic, you can choose to automatically add that thread to your list of subscribed threads, with the option to receive email notification of new replies to that thread.
Default Thread Subscription Mode: NO EMAIL NOTIFICATION

but when I go back to view the subscribed list down the side is the check box for notifications they are all blank BUT some are set to instant and others are set to weekly etc... surely the setting above should override all the previous noifications options i set certain threads to (whilst the 'master' setting was set at whatever)

?????

Yeah I looked at that page and was confused. So I would try unsubbing this thread and subbing again as I'm sure you get a choice of type of notification for that sub.

Pretty sure there is an easier way but can't check at the as using the app on my phone

Cool, I just tried that and it seems to work. Now I've got to go back and do the same for 600+ threads?!?! Maybe it's time for a prune! I guess some people might like the idea of weekly notifications for some threads and not others? Oh well, thanks again.

There's a much quicker way than doing it one by one.

When viewing your subscribed threads, tick the box just to the right of "Notification". This will select all of the subscribed threads. Go down to the bottom of the page and there will be a box which be default says "Move to folder...", click on here and an option is to update all of the threads to no email notification. Then hit "Go" and that's it done.

Press the blue arrow on the post u want to quote. When the pop on menu appears, to the far left there is a white box. Tap it and it should become checked. The post should be cream coloured to show it is quoted. Do same for any other post. When finished, tap the arrow at the very rop right of the app screen. Your first option should be multi-quote reply.

I didn't realise the iPhone and Android apps worked differently, so I've edited my post to mention Android.
