Speaker stands issue
I need a pair of speaker stands roughly 850mm high to put them at the right height for when I'm sitting at my desk but it only seems to be possible to find 600 or 1000mm stands.
If I bought a set of 600mm stands like the partington super dreadnoughts and stacked 25 cm of books and magazines under it would that have any effect on the sound? I don't understand the physics of it properly but, if anything, wouldn't stacking more stuff under the stands absorb more of the sound travelling from the speakers to the floor - and have a beneficial effect? |
