Look for low long tv unit... any ideas?

I am looking for either a single unit, or some nice seperate units that I can put side by side so that I can make them run around 240cm or more in width along the wall.

Ideally the unit will be as low as possible but still with room to fit AV and sky under / along side somewhere.

The only thing I have been able to find is

IKEA | Bookcases | BESTÃ…/FRAMSTÃ…/INREDA storage system | BESTÃ… | TV bench

Ideally it will still be possible to use the remote for the devices so either somewhere I can get an IR repeater or some glass / frosted doors or something would be great.

Ideally want to spend under £100 but can stretch to £150/£200 if its a perfect unit / units

If anyone has any thoughts / ideas / knows of any products (in the UK) then I would be really thankful.

Cheers,
Dave

What about this from Ikea. They do it in a range of finishes. It was the lowest I could find for my use. You can lower it further by leaving the legs off and using felt or rubber feet instead.

IKEA | TV solutions | TV solutions for tube TVs up to 25'' | LACK | TV bench

Re: Look for low long tv unit... any ideas?

I'm also looking for a sideboard/TV unit for my TV (50"), 2 PCs and AV gadgets. I figure it needs to be 200cm - 400cm wide, 50-70cm deep and upto 40cm high. I also want a matching shelf unit for BDs, Games & DVDs. Does such a thing exist? Black&silver or dark wood preferred any recomendations?

My current setup looks like this:

I'm also looking for a 1080p 22-30" screen as a monitor, don't want 1920x1200 to make switching from TV to Monitor easy, Any ideas, budget is £200-300.
