Customizing the doors on an Alphason Accent???
Hiya, I am going to be moving into a new house in a few weeks and thought i'd get a new cabinet for all my kit.
I was going to go for the Black Glass Cantilever stand that has it's own thread but saw the Alphason Accent (pic below) and absolutely love it. The only problem would be that my Amp, Blu-Ray and SkyHD box would have to go in the enclosed section that has solid doors. I was thinking of cutting holes in the doors and mounting Glass in them so that the kit would work but was unsure as to whether it would look ok or not. The stand is described as "real wood veneer" doors but I know absolutely nada about that kind of stuff. (the bonus is that my GF's dad has his own woodworking workshop so could get the holed cut professionally) What do you reckon? Is it do-able? Does anyone have one of these stands?
