I bought a Pioneer KRP 500a (35 kg) which I want to mount with a manual Vogels system.

The screen will be flat against the wall when not in use and needs to be pulled forward everytime in use.

I would like to know your view on the quality of these systems is.

My worry is that the system will wear out after prolonged use. Are these mounts made for movement in and out every day or are they only to be used to be put in the right position and stay there?

Hi

The Vogels units are good quality and are designed for constant use. However you don't need to spend Vogels money to get what you want.

We have an alternative which will fit your TV which is rated to 75Kgs and is independently GS/TUV rated;

M-Form - 32" to 50" Articulated Universal LCD/Plasma Bracke

It has a double arm arrangement with pre-tensioned friction bosses which are designed to stay tight no matter how much wear the pivots get.

I bought a Vogels VFW365 for my Pioneer 50" plasma and found it to be of excellent quality. It's now available for less than the £100 I paid for mine.
