Whats the minimum amount of space between shelves needed for a dvd rack?

Silly question but I can't seem to satisfy myself how much space I need to be able to get my finger in to remove a dvd off a dvd rack.

DVD's are 19cm tall, would 20cm be enough? How tall are the gaps on your shelves?

I'm getting one made and space is at a premium so if I can shave half a cm off each shelf if would be great.
