My Custom Built 19" AV Rack

Here's the 19" Rack for all the AV Equipment.

I have had it made so its 450mm deep allowing all my AV gear to be housed nicely.

The nice thing is its modular,so I can add more shelves etc...As my equipment grows.

I can add stuff like this to keep things cool etc..

Have draws etc.. if I want

Re: My Custom Built 19" AV Rack

Where did you get your rack hardware?

Did you screw rack mounting to cabinet? Thinking of putting some 19" racking into my av cabinet but clueless about how to fit it in.

Thanks for any help. Keen to see pics with gear in too.

Ian

I had it custom built mate.

By the time I bought the racking etc... I would of saved about 40 quid so didn't bother with the hassle.

Re: My Custom Built 19" AV Rack

Nice, but you should have made it more than 450mm deep just in case you upgrade to one of the meatier AV amps!
My custom made 19" AV rack is 540mm deep, and my Onkyo 905 doesn't quite fit due to the clearance needed for cables at the back!
I'm going to have to angle it at about 15 degrees, otherwise I can't shut the door.

Re: My Custom Built 19" AV Rack

It would be nice to see some more pics ie from the side and with all the bubble wrap off.
Also, does it have doors or will it be fully open from the front? Is it my imagination or is there no back?

Thanks
