| Member | TV Wall Bracket
Hope this thread is in the right section. We've bought a sony 40" lcd w series tv recently. Although i'm not fussed about getting a stand for it, my partner & son would prefer a wall bracket. My question is if i bought a wall bracket that was suitable for the weight of the tv then how secure would it still be as my outside wall consists of initially from the inside, plasterboard then a cavity then possibly breeze block & finally brick. It's the cavity that worries me as i reckon that there's probably between 1-2" cavity gap before i hit the breeze block & finally the brick. Although the bracket would come with long screws & plugs would it still do the job because of the cavity. Any help appreciated |
