Help choosing speaker stands

Hi, im looking to buy two speaker stands for a pair of quad 12L2 speakers, They should be at the right height for sitting down on a sofa

I don't want to spend more than £100 unless i have to and was looking for some advice about which stands to choose or how much people would recommend i spend on them. Bass is pretty important to me, as is sound quality obviously.

Hiya.

You should have a look at Atacama Nexus 6 or 7's. There very good

Fill them with Atacama Atabite filler and the bass is really controlled and not too flabby at all.

Re: Help choosing speaker stands

Ok i've narrowed my choices down to these two speaker stands

Atacama Nexus 6
Soundstyle z2 mkii

My question is this, can the Soundstyle z2 be filled in the same way as the nexus? Or is it just designed/heavy enough in the first place for the bass aspect?

And which would sound better in terms of bass and everything else when they were both filled to maximum potential (whatever that may be)

I'd be interested to know this also.

Thinking about buying some Soundstyle stands myself.
