final check before i buy ('awesome' diagram included) lol

I never managed to find a rack that had the exact size shelves that i needed, so i've decided to go for an Optimum AV400, so i can specify the exact shelf spacing etc

My kit will include: Onkyo NR-906, Monitor Audio GSLCR centre, PS3, Xbox 360 and a SkyHD box

This is what i've come up with:

Can anyone see any obvious flaws/errors?

Price wise, the best i've found the AV400, is £450 from Creative Audio, so if anyone knows of a better price - i'd be happy to hear :D

thanks in advance!

I've also got Optimum stands for my Home Cinema, Hi-Fi and games consoles (slightly over the top the last one, I know), and their build quality and flexibility is second to none.
Like you, I measured up all my stuff based on the height/width/depth principle, and the rod system that Optimum use is just so easy and clear to understand and plan for.
And it's upgradeable too - if ever you buy new stuff that doesn't fit your stand, then you don't need to go out and buy a whole new stand, you can just buy new taller rods.
Genius!
It looks like you've done your homework, I don't see any problems there.
Enjoy!
Derek
p.s. Just been over to this site: http://www.standanddeliver.com/acata...tv_stands.html.
It's cheaper and I've used them before, good company. Just make sure that you're buying the right depth stand for your needs - Optimum have two types 500 mm (Standard) and 400 mm (SL).

Biggest problem there is that the TV will be far too high once you're sitting down.

I was looking into that, and (unless my calculations are way off) I think it'll be ok.

Eye-level when i'm on the sofa is about 1250mm and the centre of my screen will be about 1110mm

(My pic isn't to scale, so maybe that makes it look a bit weird?)
