Hi,

I received my new Hannspree 37" LCD TV yesterday, and am now desperately searching for a suitable unit to sit it on.

It has to accomodate the TV, Sky+ box, DVD player, Amplifier and HTPC.

I'm torn between a Beech effect unit, to match speakers and laminate flooring, or a black glass unit.

My main constriction, however, is that it has to fit into a fairly narrow gap - no wider that 1 metre preferably.

I really like the Montana from Argos - however it's that bit too wide, so would need to be at an angle. http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Produc...%3EMONTANA.htm

I know EXACTLY where you are coming from....most stands are either 800mm wide (not wide enough for 2 full size seperates) or for some reason 1100mm wide! I'm also looking for something up to 1m wide because of space issues and its been a pain! Sorry, not very helpful.

Same boat here as well. Have had the new TV and Sony HDD/DVD recorder in place for 8 months now and still haven't found a suitable unit to replace the old grey one my JVC CRT used to sit on!

Becuse we have bookshelves round the TV we've wanted a small black glass stand that doesn't take over the room and has decent cable management for the 4 items we have there. Everything is either too low or too cheap looking or too expensive. Surely there must be something in the middle?!

For reference the one we have looked at is the Origin Off the Wall stand (curiously the silver version is in the banner above as I type), but it's half the price of the TV which just seems a bit over the top to the missus :-)

Faulkner. Have you had a look at the Jual tv stand range? The jf011 might do the job for you.
