A question about LCD wall mounts

I am looking to wall mount my lcd tv (Toshiba 37"). I was wondering: does the make of the stand make a difference? I was looking to buy a Vogels EFW6305 and the cheapest price i have found is £82.40 . However i noticed that there are other makes out there that are quite a bit cheaper than Vogels products. What do you guys think?

Re: A question about LCD wall mounts

Hi For a fixed bracket I would recomend our AVS-3020F or if you require some tilt then I would recomend our AVS-3019F both will do the job.

Does the fixed bracket hold the tv in place with mounts or grooves?

Also is it easy to fix the mount myself? I am on the chimney breast in my lounge (which has been bricked).

Hi

I am not quite sure what you mean by "mounts or grooves"

Its very easy to fit the backplate is fixed to the wall with the supplied raw plugs and screws, there is a spirit level built in to the backplate for you to get it straight. The 2 vertical brackets are fixed to your TV the screws are supplied. The TV is then lifted on to the wall hooking the brackets on to the back plate on the wall, a screw is then tightened to make sure it can not be accidentally knocked off the wall.

Hope that helps.
