What sort of price do you call expencive?

£5K?
£2.5K?
£1K?
£500?

It really depends on the quality and size you are looking for.

Vex is right, budget is the key here. The main manufactures that I have seen and had some experience with are:

Futureautomation
Liftbox
E-vison

Here is a lift I did with a Liftbox:

Re: retro motorised lift cabenet

From a trade point you would have to be a fair bit under a grand if its just the lift bit. A few other companies have now also produced lifts and the costs are already coming down. The motors are not the expensive but, the cable management and safety cut outs along with CE marking are the expensive bits. The Liftbox one uses a Valeo windscreen wiper motor for example!
