hi I did a silly thing and bought a tv table without measuing all my kit before hand, and to my suprise my reciever doens't fit on the shelf, so I need to increase the gap on one of the shelfs, but I'm having trouble finding a part to do this with. I thought as this was a diy section maybe someone else has overcome this problem.

basically I have this unit.

and I want to increaes the gap between the 2nd and the topshelf by 26mm.
the poles/struts/stands/legs (or whatever you want to call them) are 50mm diameter hollow tube, but with a plate welded inside with a 10mm hole in the middle to allow a screw to go from the top to the bottom to hold it all together.

your help would be appriciated.

Moved to cabinets and stands etc
