Need help finding stand

Hi all, im fairly new to this forum using it to help me in my recent upgrade obsession's

So her is my problem. I have just pre-ordered the new onkyo 606, and recently bought new ps3. With these new items my present stand is no good. So im looking for a stand that can house - onkyo amp, cd player, ps3, sky box and b&w cc6 s2.

Having looked at all the stands that people are recomending, i cant understand where my centre speaker would sit? Most of these stands just have two shelves, and putting the speaker in the middle of the top shelf just leaves one shelf for all my other components

Looking for any and all advice on what my best options would be. Which stand, or combination of stands should i go for? Many thanks Steve

Re: Need help finding stand

Hi there,

I am having the same problem, as it is, my VCR sits on my lower shelf with my middle speaker on top of it, and my dvd recorder is on the second shelf with my Sky HD box on top of it, now I want to get a Blu Ray player, but I have no where for it to go. This does not even include my Wii!!

I have found a Sound Style WG4, but it says that it is for Hi Fis only, but I noticed that the WG3 (for HiFi/LCD), has one less shelf, but can carry the same load (60kg), as the WG4, but for some reason, the WG4 does not seem to be recommended for LCDs as well!?!?

I am very keen for any suggestions.

I have a SONY VCR SLV850; Sony DVD Recorder; Sky HD Box; Nintendo Gamecube; Wii; Pioneer Home Theatre System and KDL40W2000.

Re: Need help finding stand

Thanks for both your comments.......i am looking to spend a bit of money to get this right, so as i said any suggestions from all you home cinema freaks would be most welcomed.

I would imagine accommodating all the equipment is quite a common problem

Re: Need help finding stand

Have you tried Home Cinema Stands? they are an advertiser here and offer a very wide range.

iirc www.homecinemastands.co.uk will get you there.

Re: Need help finding stand

Thanks for your posts to the two above. However, as i explained my problem with these two recomendations is that from what i can see all these stands make no room for a big centre speaker placed under the tv.......because if you were to do so, there would be no room for all the other components.
So my question was not only looking for recomendation on a piece of furniturre, but also how other members with lots of home cinema items fit all theirs onto a stand

Re: Need help finding stand

May be worth having a look at Partington stands. Also I think Atacama do a couple of av type stands. Try http://www.audiophilecandy.com/home.asp for second hand stands.

Re: Need help finding stand

I am very tempted to get one of the ones in the links below: http://www.richersounds.com/showprod...IXE-PXHS30-BLK

or

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Centurion-Sh.../dp/B000QIO3YA

I know they are mainly for Hi Fis, but they have all the shelves I need, and it can definately more than support the weight of my 40" LCD, and the other equipment, plus it is a decent price. My main concern is, do you think it will tilt over and fall??

There is also this one:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Centurion-Bl.../dp/B000VPDVVO

I have seen some others, but they are so pricey it is ridiculous, I even saw a perfect one, but it was £1,999.99 can you imagine???
