have currently got a sagem hd45 with the silver stand that is supplied with it, which my cats have developed a taste for going behind and chewing at wires. plus the tv sits partially infront of my front window obstructing the light. in addition my av reciever wont even fit on the stand. all looks a bit messy. oh the stand is a corner unit.
my setup is as follows:

sagem hd45
kef eggs
xbox 360
sky hd
htpc
denon 2910 at present
wii
onkyo 705

what im basically looking at doing is either buying or having a mate whos a joiner make me a long tv stand that wil fit all my kit on it which is tidy and enclosed or at least covers the wires and plugs. the idea is for the stand to be on some sort of runners so that it can be pulled out when im watching tv, to a 45% angle from the wall and then pushed flat the rest of the time.

does that make sense, has anyone done similiar or have any suggestions.
