CD / DVD storage

Has anyone got any decent links to suppliers of CD/DVD storage ? I'm looking to home around 450 CD's and 50 DVD's with an allowance for further expansion. I've looked at IKEA and even argos ( does there stuff hold together ? ) and i've also looked at JL although i've not found anything yet.

Thanks

For something a bit different, I know a few members here use www.boltz.com

Re: CD / DVD storage

I'm an Ikea fan. DVDs on Ivar units and Cds on Billy bookcases. Dead simple and dead cheap. Cheap enough to chop up into different shapes and sizes if necessary. You can smarten Ivar up a bit by making end panels (that fit inside the end "ladder" frames) out of painted MDF. As most of mine are on the side wall of a (very narrow) cinema room, I have them covered with a roman blind to a) remove reflected glare from the cases, and b) dampen out sound reflection. On the Ivars I leave the bottem few shelves out, and have made custom racks that slide into the spaces (Laminate floor, felt pads on the racks).
