Mounting a Sony Bravia 40" (suggestions/tips wanted)

I recently splashed out on a Sony 40" Bravia and am now looking for something stylish to put it on.

My living room is 'typical', and doesnt allow for the screen to be wall mounted and so I'm stuck with it having to go on a stand in the corner of the room.

I'd been thinking about getting an Elmob Pegasus PE2531.

Has anyone used an Elmob stand? If so, can you tell me if they are any good...? Also, do you have any better suggestions?
