Red face Fairly tall and cheap stand -- Help me get rid of my breeze blocks

Howdy,

I'm in the market for a moderately tall (between 65 and 100 cm) stand for my gear, cashing in at no more than £90 (although I can up my budget a tad if it's really nice). Furniture manufacturers seem convinced that everyone wants low and wide stands for their stuff, but humble students with small bedrooms, such as myself, really don't have the space .

Ideally I'd like it to be wooden (don't do glass) and with a back to it, but one with cable holes so I can hide away all my ugly wiring. And if it's either black or varnished then all the better.

As you can see, at the moment I'm using seven breeze blocks and three planks of wood to stack my stuff at the foot of my bed (hence the need for height). It's a bargain at under a tenner to make the whole thing, but isn't exactly the prettiest thing in the world . Furthermore, it weighs a ton and I dread to think what would happen if my floorboards gave way, particularly as the kitchen dining table is directly below:

Any links would be hugely appreciated, as would any other suggestions.

TIA,

Jamie
