I am looking to get this for my stereo (the WG4) 4 shelf one in oak. My local hifi specialist has these in stock so I will have a look over the weekend and report back if it looks any good.

Had a look at one in the flesh on Saturday, and they look pritty well put together. Certinly quite solid - was told that they are flatpack and arnt difficult to assemble - we will see, They didnt have stock so I decided to get them to order one in.
They wanted 270 but i knocked him down to 250 - now i know they can be bought cheaper elseware online - but I have a baby due in 5 weeks so right now everything I am doing - i am doing on the path of least resistance!!! It lands on thurs hopefully so expect pics if anyone is still bothered.

Matt | Hi Matt
Ive tried to find one of these in the flesh but no luck so far, so a pic or two of the stand all set up would be very helpful.
Good luck with both impending arrivals!!

Heh thanks,
I actually went into the dealer this morning and canceled my order - that is what i get for supporting a local independant, ignorance, lies and bad attitude!! Anyways, a nice chap from stand and deliver.com informs me he has them in stock and they should arrive here on tuesday!! Now at least the stand will be here before the nipper!! :P
nigpd i'll get some pictures as soon as the stand is here..

Well I bought a WG3 AV from Stand & Deliver back in March for £239 (though I opted to pay the extra for the convenience of Sat delivery).
I have nothing but praise for the product (easy to follow instructions, great design both in terms of looks and structural integrity and just an over all impression of quality) and the vendor.
If you pushed me to find a fault I would maybe highlight the lack of cable management; there is a thin piece of board with pre cut holes, but it's not really adequate IMHO.
Enjoy

Woo hoo stand landed today! putting it together wasnt difficult but it did come in lots of bits. So I set it up and think, right now pictures! And you guessed it batterys in my camera flat as a pancake!
So for now, one picture taken with my awfull camera phone! Better pictures once the batterys have charged I promise..
As for the quality, cant grumble - its probably the least stressfull bit of flatpack i've assembled - and i've assembled alot of flatpack in the last few months!!! Very happy with it!

Just bought a WG3 from Stand & Deliver. Good price, black glass (most suppliers only had clear) and prompt delivery. No problems putting it together and it seems really solid. Looks great too! Very happy |

I'm considering ordering a WG3-AV myself. One question though, can the back panel be left off or does it affect the structural integrity of the cabinet? I guess as it's only thin board(?) it won't be a problem to leave it off. The reason I ask is that the depth is barely adequate to accomodate my amp and chunky cables and leaving the back off would be a good way round this problem. I love the overall style and all other dimensions are perfect for my room

Thanks: Gave 15, Got 12 | Re: Soundstyle Finewoods... what do you guys think? Matt2001, I left the back off mine for precisely the reason you identified in your post.
It is indeed only a thin piece of board intended to hide the cabling spaghetti and in no way structural, so no worries in leaving it to one side.
I really can not recommend this stand highly enough.
