Any ideas for 1.2m black glass stand?

Now I have my TV on order, I'm wading through lots of sites looking for a bargain stand. My budget is £150 and I've seen :

http://www.comet.co.uk/cometbrowse/p...ds-_-position1

which is 1140mm wide for £125, and slightly more expensive is

http://www.standland.co.uk/zingt5bk.htm

which is 1200mm wide (has anyone used standland?)

Do any of you knowledgable guys know of any other stands (hopefully wider) which I should be considering?

Thanks for any help.

This is the one I went for which is wider.

Looks very smart and can hold upto 150 kgs.

Agreed - that does look very nice. Sadly though, it's too low. I'd be looking down on the LCD which I'm not keen on.

In the end, I went for the StandLand "Dakota" stand by Spectral. It's not your typical stand as such (was thinking of the GT5) but I wanted something "different".

It should arrive Friday, so, I'll see if I've made an error or not.

Just a bit of feedback, as normally you only hear the bad things... but the Dakota stand arrived and I'm well pleased with it. Build quailty is very good, although I would have liked the black wood to have been a bit heavier. Glass was nice and chunky. All the screw holes were where they were supposed to be. Easy to put up.

Pics are here if you're interested :

Would recommend it as a nice alternative to the usual looking AV stands. Only problem is, as you can see, no cable management so I need to tidy that up.

Quick Tip - The dark grey foam pipe lagging you can buy from DIY shops for about £2 a meter makes excellent cable tidy.

The stand looks great by the way, but then I would say that wouldn't I

Thanks for your business, we really appreciate it.

Ha - I didn't realise someone from Standland prowled the forum.

Just a note on Standland itself then - good customer service on the phone, and it arrived exactly when they said it would. Very happy indeed and would use again.
