Centre speaker needs new home ....

Newsflash ...

a centre speaker that measures 460x172x192 (Length x Height x Depth in mm) and weights 7kg does not sit on top of a 42" LCD TV.

Does anyone here have a solution, there is no room under the TV, most new TV stands haven't enough shelves to hold .. DVD Recorder, VCR, DVD Player, Sky+, AV Amplifier, XBox. We got a really good wooden one from Ikea that works a treat and want to keep it.

So I need a stand that will hold the centre speaker that either goes under the TV or will hold the centre speaker over the top of it (a height of at least 720mm)

Ideas please ..... I am getting goofy eyeballs scouring the web ...

Re: Centre speaker needs new home ....

If it has a wall behind it then a shelf or speaker wallmount above the TV might work.

I have a similar issue. I ended up putting the PS3 vertically on the floor next to my stand because I can't findanywhere else to put my centre speaker. (my setup is in a bay window)

Re: Centre speaker needs new home ....

I've now got the same problem. Amp, DVD, Sky+ and 3 games consoles are taking up too much room for my centre speaker to fit in the stand now.

Does anyone make a wall bracket for a centre speaker?

Thanks

I made this DIY stand based on the TNT Flexy-rack.
Evil- Centre Speaker Stand

If I were to build another one I'd use a 3rd board in the middle to help stablilise everything.

Vogels are pretty good wall mounts.
