Wide and low stand required.

Can anyone recommend a stand no more than 300mm high but wide enough for 3 components side by side?

Needs to be suitable for the weight of a 50" plasma and cost less than £400.

Other than that I am open to suggestion, glass, wood...etc.

Thanks.

Re: Wide and low stand required.

OK I have had a measure up now and can go up to 400mm high.

I like the look of the Alphason ABR-1100, but I am not too keen on having a closed in stand. I have had 2 xbox 360's die and they were out in the open, god knows how long they would last in there!

So anyone any ideas, similar to ABR-1100 but not closed in?

What overall width are you looking at?

Around 1300mm, but not that important so long as it is no higher than 400mm and can fit Amp, sky box, dvd player and preferably xbox360 too.

Thanks.

Hi Porker,

Check out the new Atacama Elara AV64, especially designed for this purpose (although slightly over your height tolerance at 445mm)

Re: Wide and low stand required.

Thanks Kingy,

That does look like it would do the job, its just I am under strict instruction from HWMBO, I am only allowed to buy a 50" plasma if it comes in at under the height of my current telly which is a 44" sony rear projector.

The problem is I have my telly in front of a bay window so it blocks out a bit of light
I think anything over 400mm would put me a bit too close to the height of the Sony and with the extra width of the plasma it's going to look massive anyway.

I quite like the look of the Ateca range but I have found different dimensions quoted on various retailers websites so I don't know which is right.
