Smile Help with our set-up -> New Av cabinet?

Hi,

We are having some issues with our new TV set up. Before we had a big CRT, and have upgraded to a Philips 32" LCD (9632D). At the same time, we decided to upgrade our PVR to a Sony (RDR-HXD970B).

This leaves us with the teeny, weeny issue that the Sony box doesn't fit in our AV cabinet! (see attached). You can see it behind the TV, where it doesnt get any ir signals!

We want a very similar looking cabinet, ie. dark, subtle wood, and one that fits into the space (82cm), and will accomodate everything (43cm). We would also like it to fit a CD player (also 43cm), and Aego M 2.1 speakers/sub (in the post as we speak).

Alternatively, is there any other way we can arrange with the current furniture so it will work?

Ta,

Chris

Ps. I'm a new user on these forums, but have been surfing them for a while, I'd just like to say thanks for all the advice you have given to others, I've taken a lot on board, and think this is a great place!

Re: Help with our set-up -> New Av cabinet?

We are pretty much resigned to the fact that it is going to cost a few hundred pounds, so let's say around the £300 mark, although the less it is the better!

We only need something very simple and basic, it is suprising what people can get away with charging!
