Re: getting rid of dust

Get an ioniser and stick it on the other side of the room. They are dust magnets.

Re: getting rid of dust

Special AV Duster:

Take 1 wire coathanger and bend the wire so that it is a large looparound 3 inches wide and quite long.

Take an old sock and stretch it over the loop of wire.

Ta da - one homemade AV duster, just right for getting under the gear (it also has a hook for hanging in the cleaning cupboard!!)

Re: getting rid of dust

Microfibre cloths, about £1.50 for 2 from Tescos - work brilliantly

Re: getting rid of dust

Get a Ioniser like Paulie said above , I bought one from Argos fair enough it was £150 but its worth its money in gold.
It as permanent filters that never need replacing and mine runs permanent in my A/V room 24/7 i got all black polished kit and if i have to just nip over my stuff with a micro fibre once every 5 week its a miracle.
